My son really enjoyed this lesson on wolves, coyotes, and foxes from our World of Animals science curriculum.  We are lucky to be able to observe coyotes and foxes on our property.  We like to crack the windows at night and listen to the yips and howls of the coyotes down in the canyon.  Sometimes, very early in the morning we can catch one or two coyotes slinking through the property and in the evening catch a glimpse of a fox just as it’s disappearing into the woods.

MOVIE: Living with Wolves by Discovery Channel

MUSIC: Here are some wolves howling. Kids love howling like a wolf, join in!

PHILANTHROPY: We visited Wolf Hollow while we were living in Ipswich, MA. We really enjoyed our time spent learning about wolves and howling with the wolves. Consider the Adopt-A-Wolf Program at Wolf Hollow for a lesson in philanthropic conservation support.

MOVIE: At the end of the lesson, for fun, we watched White Fang.
