The World of Animals: Birds of Prey

This lesson is about birds of prey: eagles, falcons. Click here for the lesson on owls.  We enjoyed a falconry demonstration that was really up close and educational. As soon as the water level is up on the lake, I want to take an eagle cruise at Canyon of the Eagles. I can only pray for rain!

I have had this balancing eagle for years and my kids love playing with it. It’s a physics demonstration of kinetics and center of gravity. This is a fun time to let them play with it while reading.
