My kids like to have lots of extra practice and a variety of supplies and materials. For this lesson, we had fun with different shapes of crayons to practice good gripping skills. Here are some great crayons to practice grip:

Crayon Rocks (These seem magical to a child, especially when they come in a red velvet pouch…)

Lesson 2:

A world map or globe to find Toledo, Spain

Prior to this lesson observe the sunset and sunrise and point out the many colors in the sky. This lesson emphasizes that the best place for your child to learn is right beside you. This is a great time to take a blanket and pillows outside and snuggle up for some cloud watching. Then complete the lesson beside your child.

FYI: This lesson works better on a cool to warm, partly cloudy day.

Lesson 3:

Lesson 4:

This is a fun time to make homemade bread and practice those new skills. And it’s yummy!

This lesson teaches proper paintbrush use. practice

While this setting would be beautiful and fun, we do not have fish anymore. So we chose a different setting. We chose fruits and veggies in primary and secondary colors: tomato, blueberries, lemon, lime, orange, and a purple onion. This tuned out really nice.
